RD Cabernet-Malbec

(Bodega Tacuil):

The aim here is to look for a fruit-driven wine, easy to drink. The 2014 RD is a Malbec-Cabernet blend selected from 3 hectares of
their estate vineyards. In 2014 the Cabernet represented a slowly higher percentage of the blend, close to 30% when it’s usually only
around 20% and it’s noticeable in the nose with stronger herbal aromas intermixed with blackberries, violets and other flowers.
The juicy and ripe palate reveals round, sweet tannins that are a little earthy but able to stand up to food. None of these reds feels
alcoholic even though a wine like this is always above 15% alcohol. 17,000 bottles produced.
